This poster design was made during easter season of 2025. I have been having this imagination in mind about a poster I can design as a tribute to the greatest hero mankind has ever known. As I was browsing Pinterest, I happen to stumble on this wonderful artwork by Norma Esquerra. So I used it and added about 4 or 5 textures of different old papers to create the mood. Then I added some dodging and burning to the original artwork to create more visual depth, especially on the cheek and on the thorns. These edits gave the image a bit more three-dimensionality.
Finally, I added the text "Son Of Man" using the font Unispace and "ALPHA & OMEGA" using Adobe Garamond Pro as font. I really liked how the modernness of the Unispace font contrasted perfectly with the traditional, classic and elegance of the serif font Adobe Garamond Pro. At the bottom I chose to put my logotype anghelgrafix and decreased its fill value to create more interset to the whole composition. All in all like magic, it makes me shiver everytime I look into this poster. This usually is my cue that a piece is finished.
